Gaylene Gould is founder of The Space To Come, an agency creating artist-led projects that aim to heal and connect us with an aim is to create a culture of care.
Gaylene has worked with international organisations such as the British Film Institute, Toronto International Film Festival, FILMCLUB, the Museum Service, Hot Docs Film Festival, and the Arts Council England to successfully broaden their creative programmes and audiences.
She has also worked as a creative consultant for leading organisations such as National Theatre, Southbank Centre and the Young Vic.
In this video Sairah Ashman, Wolff Olins CEO and organiser of TEDxGreekStWomen, interviews Gaylene about her journey to discovering the power of listening to yourself. I have over twenty years senior leadership, talent development and creative direction experience in the creative sector. I have worked with international organisations such as the British Film Institute, Toronto International Film Festival, FILMCLUB, the Museum Service, Hot Docs Film Festival, and the Arts Council England to successfully broaden their creative programmes and audiences. I also worked as a creative consultant for leading organisations such as National Theatre, Southbank Centre and the Young Vic. I now run my own creative agency The Space To Come and have creatively directed independent projects for the British Council, Tate, Vivid Projects, V&A, Malmo Moderna Museet & Selfridges.

I am a Cultural Ambassador for London appointed by the Mayor and a cultural reviewer, broadcasting for the BBC and writing for key film and arts journals. I am also an award-winning fiction writer.

I am an accredited coach and passionate about the development of culture-shifting ideas and people. I believe the source of truth, within ourselves and society, lies in our marginalised voices so support diverse individuals and groups of creatives to discover their own.
